About the Design
Yama & Brahma came to Broken Shovels Farm Sanctuary through a well-meaning person who had saved them from slaughter after watching them be swatted through auction. We were instantly smitten with this gentle, playful species. Brahma fell ill the spring of 2022 with pneumonia & despite our best efforts & some of the best vets in the country, we could not save him. We asked artist, Max Metzler, to commemorate these two kindred spirits with this sweet illustration. We'll never forget you, Brahma.
